Well,  I was bad and started Rachel Jarrat from Scarlet Letter a couple of weeks ago.  I had kitted this one a few months ago but never got around starting.  Suddenly I felt the urge to start something.  It all started with some one asking how many WIP's I have going.  It did  upset me a little bit, but then I thought to myself :  This is my life and my stitching.  I will stitch what I want, when I want.  If I have hundred WIP's. it is my choice.

Any way, this comment made me start Rachel.  No picture yet.

  1. Bhooma, you are not bad! You and Glenna, from Eye of the Needle blog, are my heroes! I saw the exchange about wips on facebook and I really related with you. I have 19 samplers in progress and 72 kitted and I've only been stitching 2 years! I stitch what I want, when I want, and IF I want. That's why I don't do SAL's or exchanges; I would probably have a break down if I was forced to stitch on something that I didn't feel like at the time!! LOL I also admire people who are fast stitchers and finish what they work on, but that's not me at all. Some of my samplers are 3/4 done, but I experience joy finding them almost done and then working on them with just a small amount left to do. I consider myself a medium stitcher, not slow, but not lightening speed. I work full time so that cuts down on my stitching time. I always love starting a new sampler and sometimes they work out and sometimes I frog and look to something else. I truly enjoy seeing your different starts so don't quit starting, o.k.? LOL

    1. Robin, I don't even know how many WIP's I have. I have been stitching for years, though not as much as I have been in recent years. Cross stitch was my outlet and came to my aid during a very very difficult part of my life. To me the joy is in stitching, not finishing. If I really like a particular chart, I immediately want to start it. I don't think I will change. I will still start new pieces. I may not post progress pictures of them.
