Well...  I have a finish.  After Sabine's enquiry on FB, I decided to pull the sampler out and finish it.  But, to my horror, I could not locate my conversion sheet.  I looked high and low and was glad when I finally located it.  I was not going to take a chance and decided to finish the sampler and I did it a few mintues ago.

Peace by A Stitcher;s hands

This is a huge sampler- Stitch count   578 x 941. This is one sampler I may not finish in my life time.     I can  only try and  I will keep adding a few stitches each week.
1 x 1 on 30 ct linen with HDF fibers.

I have my first finish for .  I finished Jean Scrimgeowr earlier today.  For once I didn't get distracted by my of WIPs but stuck with jean and finished her.

On a side note, in my hurry to post my finish on FB, I had taken a photo of the backside of the sampler and posted it on the Scarlet Letter group!!  I didn't realize my mistake until Nicola gently pointed it out to me....

For the past few weeks I have been concentrating on Jean Scrimgeowr from Scarlet Letter I was on a roll last week but hit a snag.  One of the red floss I have been stitching with went into hiding and no matter how hard I tried, I could not find it. After I lamented about this on FB,  Vickie Bullis offered to send me the left over floss from her kit.  I got it on THrusday and so I was able to continue sitiching Jean.    Here is my progress as of now.

I may have a finish this year after all  :)

I wanted to start a new sampler on New Year's day. Ignoring all the WIP's I have, I chose Do Different by Long Dog.  I am stitching this on 40 ct linen with HDF silk, Mette black.  I am liking the way this looks so far.

Made a little bit more progress on Peace.  I still have a long way to go. Time to move on to something else.

I worked on PEACE by A Stitcher's Hands for the last few weeks.  Now it is time to put it away

While taking this photo, I went ahead and took one of Rachel Jarratt.  Not much of a start.
